I saw that a bakery/cake shop is opening in a few months around my house. They have a fb with pics of all their sweets. I can see that she's a pastry chef. Amazing plated desserts but lacking in cake decorating skills. I don't know if they are thinking about hiring somebody but i'm thinking of sending my resume along my some of my cake pics. I'm wondering if anybody who has hired somebody will give me a few pointers.

I don't think I would send anything until finding out if they're hiring first.
Maybe I could go to the place, it's under construction, and stalk the owners 
You could call and ask if they're hiring or not?

Hearing,"No, thank-you, we're not hiring" is a lot easier to live with than saying "Dang it, why didn't I send in an application. I could of had the job"
can somebody tell me how to edit my original post? It's not showing the edit scissors that usually show on the right top side of post.
