Hi Everyone, I have a family baby shower this Saturday and they asked me to make the cake. The baby shower is for a boy and theme is Camouflage. I would like to do something cute and not just camouflage.
I was wondering if I did a 2 tier cake and made the top tier camo and the bottom with a design like stripes, chevron stripes, or dots. Would any of those look good with camouflage? I am not very creative on my own and need help icon_smile.gif
I started making an idea board with color of camouflage I was thinking about using and my ideas for the stripes on the bottom.
What do you all think?

What about a bassinet cake in camo with little ducks. I used a crusting butter cream in three different colors and a tip 3. Outline your pattern and fill it in with frosting. Let it crust and then smooth it with a Viva paper towel. For the canopy I used the rim on a small paint bucket I purchased at Home Depot. I cut the rim off with a razor knife and cut it in half. Using hot glue, fabric and ribbon I create the canopy. Add a fondant blanket and pillow. You could even add a toy teddy bear, rattle etc.
