What exactly is this?? Is it the edible images?
I've noticed a few cakes with this in our gallery (I think boween does it the most) and am a little confused on what this is and how you use it.
For instance I saw on a couple of boweens cakes she did an icing image with fondant backing. Is this just an edible image put on fondant?
Hi. I actually PM'd boween about this. She said she prints out her image on a frosting sheet. She then uses a thin layer of piping gel and puts the image on the fondant. She cuts the image to shape. After it dries for a couple of days...she attaches a popcycle stick to the back of it with candy melts and inserts it into the cake. I am going to try this because I love using my canon printer. Good luck!

Hi traci, I'm glad you were able to answer this question. I'm not quite sure which cake or cakes Joshsmom was referring to. I looked at one of boween's cakes (spongebob) and it looked like most of it was made out of fondant pieces. Which cake are you referring to that she puts the image on with a popsicle stick? Now I'm really curious about this. Thanks, Janice
Janice, the only 1 I can think of off the top of my head is the Nascar Cake, I think there is a Shark Tales one too that the shark is this icing image.
She actually has several. I have seen a dora and a scooby doo as well. You might want to go to her profile and just view all her pictures. She does a beautiful job on all of her cakes.
