Problems With Clay Extruder

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone had the same problem I have with fondant/gumpaste sticking to the inside of a clay extruder? It sticks so badly making it nearly impossible to push the fondant/gumpaste out. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to fix this problem, as I know the extruder would be an invaluable tool. Sounds like it's too dry. You need to rub some crisco all over the outside before you put it in the extruder so it won't stick.

Hello, I spray the inside of mine with Pam 1st. Hope that helps. Joni

I also spray mine & knead a decent amount of crisco into my fondant to be extruded.

I spray mine too. I also put my fondant in the microwave to soften it up so it will extract easier and smoother through all those little holes.
