I just bought some cookie cutters and am looking forward to trying the NFSC recipe. I am going back & forth about which icing to use, either RI or Toba Garretts Glace. I haven't tried either one, and Toba's seems a bit easier, so I'm leaning that way. My question is - how do you color either icing? With regular Americolor/Wilton colors that you would color BC with?

I use gel colors, either the wilton ones, or I have some that I bought in the grocery store that work really well. I think they are better crocker or something.
I use the glaze for my cookies, I haven't tried royal icing yet. last night I made the glaze and added some meringue pow. and it was ok. (see the pics in my other post).
