Our church is having a Women's Raffle to raise money for a Women's retreat. I thought it would be fun by contributing Giant cupcakes decorated different ways.

The way I wanted to decorate them people might want to save their giant cupcakes for a special occasion and freeze them for a while.

Question is :
If I put the cupcake in the chocolate base can the whole thing be put in the freezer?

Has anyone ever done this before and if so what has been the outcome?

Chocolate in the freezer is tricky. Most of the time, the chocolate discolors from the moisture in my freezer. However, my freezer is not frost-free.
