Hi all! I need some tips icon_smile.gif

Question 1: I'm going to be covering a cake that has been iced in IMBC with fondant for the first time soon. How do I do this? Any tips? Is it the same process as ABC? It's for my husbands Oma's 91st birthday, so I really want to do this right!

Question 2: As they are from Holland, I am going to do a bouquet of tulips on the top of the cake. It will be a 4" tier. Any thoughts as to how many tulips that will take to fill the top? I'm horrible at judging these things.

Thanks!

I dont have any answer to Question #1 bc I dont use IMBC, but, im sure someone will answer you soon icon_smile.gif

Are the tulips going to be open or closed? Bc that would make a difference. Open tulips take up a lil more sace than closed. I myself would make about 6-10 just in case. Its better to make more than you need than to have to stop and realize you need more

If you are using IMBC under fondant then chill the cake until it is rock hard before you cover.
