How do you attach real fabric ribbon to a buttercream & fondant cake? Can you use those needles/pins with the little pearls on the ends?

There is a video in youtub were she wets the ribbon then puts it around the cake. I tryied it and it work.

I have always used corsage pins to hold the ribbon in place until it's finished being decorated. Then you can secure it with a dab of buttercream.

i always use a spot of royal icing , sticks like super glue! but i only work with fondant not buttercream x
