Make Edible Image Shiny?

I want to get the shiny effect of a magazine cover and plan to use an edible image. Do you think there's a way to make an edible image shiny without making it run? I think painting confectioner's glaze on it or spraying it with Pam would make it run? I'm going to put it on fondant or BC...
I'd really appreciate any other suggestions!

You would have to test it first but I use a mix of corn syrup and vodka for shine. I have not done it on an edible image so I'm not sure if it would dissolve or smear. So test firsticon_smile.gif

Sorry, I usually do a little more vodka than corn syrup so say a 60/40 mix. I've done 50/50 and it takes a little while longer to dry. But that said too much vodka might dissolve the image so maybe 50/50 would be best.

I did a test and it beaded on the edible image. I'm not going to do it...
