I woke up at 2:30am and couldn't get back to sleep. I've been working nonstop on this cake since, and it still isn't done. I wish someone would punch me in the face. 17.5 hours and not done! What in hell possessed me to take this order, anyway?

Many of us have had similar experiences....a cake that just would NOT come together. Sorry you are having such a bad time with it.

i feel you ladies. I had a wedding cake today and man let me tell ya,...i just didn't enjoy doing this one.. got done okay, looked nice but just destroyed my whole holiday mood. First and last time for holiday wedding for me.. for sure.

I finished it this am. Delivery tonight at 7pm. If anything happens to it during delivery I will just kill myself.
