I'm trying to think of ideas for a cake. The theme of the evening is "Masterpiece". It needs to be elegant looking, not fun looking, and serve about 50. I'm having a hard time coming up with anything! Any ideas?

Maybe look through google for masterpiece paintings and see if you can take some inspiration from that. Needing to serve 50 - are you thinking of tiered or one larger one - like a 10x10x4 sq or a 14x4" round or 12x18 sheet? (Of course there are other possibilities.....just considering some choices you might have)
