So Im trying to make vampire cupcakes for my daughters Halloween party at school. I was thinking white cupcakes with some sort of gel filling I could die red maybe raspberry? I don't want it to absorb into the cake and get lost and I would like it to ooze just a little kinda like the consistency of piping gel. Any suggestions? Can I thicken a fruit filing recipe or thin a buttercream recipe to get the filling right?
Thank you for your help icon_smile.gif

I really like the raspberry fruit filling sleeve. It complements white cake very well and it doesn't soak into the cake. It sounds like it may be the consistency that you are looking for.

HTH!
