I make mine with 1 cup flour, 1 cup shortening and 1/2 cup oil and it is about the consistency of mayo.
I already used it on my first cake so hopefully it will work. I did use parchment on the bottom so I should be ok.
Thanks Kakeladi, I just whipped the heck out of it and it is thick now.
Bridgette1129, I will try the 1/2 cup oil on my next batch.
