I've seen a cake topper that has a naked sleeping baby lying atop an open flower (like a lily pad). Does anyone have references for this? I'm especially interested in finding a tutorial for this. Thanks

I know the cake you are talking about...I did one last week for a baby shower too. I just bought the mould and the petal dust in flesh tone, peach, and brown, and followed a tutorial on here. Mix your fleshtone into the gumpaste before putting it in the mould, makes it easier to finish...then just dust to whatever tones you want. look on my page to see the one I did. It was pretty easy...oh and put in the freezer for half hour and it pops out perfect...then let it dry before you dust. I found the link...HTH

and for image references, search for Anne Geddes babies (the photographer that made the series of baby photos)

I just used directions I found on Youtube from Tonedna1 (Edna de la Cruz) on how to make a five petal rose, and used that to make my petals. I used 5/6 large ones on the bottom and 5 smaller ones as the top layer. I put them together with melted chocolate.
