How Do You Roll Your Cake Pops?

I don't have any of those cake pop machines and want to make some for a Halloweed coming up? Do you just roll them with your hands or what do you use?

I used a cookie scoop so I got an even portion and then I rolled them by hand.

Squish the cake until it's the consistency of cookie dough and then to portion we'd use a meatballer (looks like scissors with two scoops at the end) then we'd roll smooth by hand.
