I picked up some sour cream from Sam's club and noticed that the expiration date is Oct.24. If I use this sour cream in a WASC recipe and freeze it will it be ok to serve on Nov.13? How long does sour cream usually last? This is my first time making a WASC cake. Thanks for your help!!!

It'll be fine.

As soon as you bake it & freeze it, the expiration date is a non-issue.

I always make up batches of BC right before my heavy cream expires and then freeze it.
