Hi

Im from London, UK and new to the site and was looking for a forum on how to stack tiered cakes.

Ive watched lots of videos on youtube but none really say what you need.

I have 6", 9" and 12" cake that i have made and tomorrow i need to stack them.

Ive been told that it is best to stack at the destination. Ive bought some dowels to keep the cake sturdy once stacked. Do i need to put cardboard under each cake, if so can it be any cardboard or can it be the silver cardboard trays that you use at the bottom?

Id be extremely grateful if someone can help me out?

Thanks

Yes, you need cardboard under each tier. No, it can't be just any cardboard. It should be made to use with food and comes pre-cut in typical sizes.
