Hi there everyone, i had a thought and i am wondering if anyone can help me out. I was thinking about using the kathy scott mini cake method on larger cakes where you would bake a cake in like a fat daddio pan, then empty, clean and coat the inside with mixture of white chocolate, shortning, poured, then let harden. Leave shell in pan

You would then fill cake and put a little icing in pan, place cake in pan then cover top with layer of melted chocolate let harden again then turn over and take out. This is her method for mini cakes, do you think it would work for larger cakes like let's say 9 inch?

Sorry for long post.
