Ok, I am trying to make my first flowers with gumpaste. I got the tools and watched some tutorials about how to make them. Well the gum paste keeps on sticking to the tools when I want to curl the petals. Any idea how I correct this problem? Thanks

Have you tried dusting everything with more cornstarch/powdered sugar? Or if you are in the UK cornflour/icing sugar

Yes, I did and put shortening but it still stuck

Make sure your gumpaste is not tacky and tools are totally clean and dry, then dust them and the petals with cornstarch/powdered sugar - as previously suggested.
