Why is my pound cake sticking to the top when I try to take it out of the pan. I am using a Wilton's Angel Food Pan which I love. But sometimes even after spraying the pan with Bake Ease it still sticks to the top. I can't present a cake with some of the top missing. Why Why Why

Try lining the pan with parchment paper too.

I fully support the parchment paper idea as well! But in case you forget to put it in I read recently that you can use a hair dryer to warm up the pan and the cake to get the pan to release a cake. I haven't tried it yet but it might be worth it if you only other choice is to scrape your cake out.

I think that I would try the hair dryer idea and at least you have a straight top to get it off of. It could be a bundt pan and then it would be harder to get out without messing up. Best wishes. Let us know if this works.
