the website my cake school was just brought to my attention, has anyone joined this site? i wanted some advice before i paid money to see the tutorials. thanks
I've been wondering about My Cake School also. How much is it to join?
My Cake School is a VERY good site! Even if you already know how to do majority of the skills, the support and the personal response from a very experienced caker, is well worth the $30/year. Plus, no viruses like some free sites give you. I highly recommend it!
I joined My Cake School a few months ago and for $30 a year you do get your money's worth. The instructor is Melissa Diamond and she is a very good instructor. Her video tutorials are very clear and easy to follow. The websites has recipes, a blog and many ideas for cupcakes.
She just updated her website and made it iPad friendly, hooray! It is another source to learn new techniques, enhance your skills, or have a different way of doing things.
In today"s economy, a $30 tuition bill for a 1 year cake course- you can't go wrong. ![]()

It is great. And when you think about it, the price of $30 for a full year breaks down to less than $3 a month. That is cheaper than any cake magazine. Not only is there new stuff weekly, you have access to any of the previously posted tutorials since she started it.
I highly recommend it. ![]()
