I am making a Dora the Explorer cake for my daughter's birthday. I am decorating it with fondant and makeing some stars to put on the cake. Should I make the decorations first this weekend for the cake that is for 9/10? would the fondant decorations will be good? will they dry out and break before I can use them?

You can make them now if you sandwich them between layers of pressNseal plastic wrap then put them in the fzr.

If you are laying them around edges of the cake and need them bendable, then I always cut them out and stick them on the cake. If they can be dried straight or in a shape and it won't hurt the design, then do them early and let them dry.
