This may have already been posted, but Betty Crocker just "downsized" their cake mixes. The measurements are smaller, so if you're like me and you're on "auto-pilot" when using their mixes, check your box. I bought some 2 weeks ago, and then 2 yesterday and they are smaller! I called their 800 number and she confirmed but reassured me that their "test kitchen and marketing people" tested all of the recipes, and there should be no real noticeable difference. The baking times have been shortened to accomodate the smaller amount of batter. She was very nice, but I told her to make sure my comments made it to their "marketing people" - next time, PUT SOMETHING ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX TO ANNOUNCE THEIR CHANGES! Poor marketing, IMHO!

well, if they downsized the amount of the box...how is the wasc cake recipe going to be adjusted to accomodate to that now? just when you learn a recipe the manufacturers try to screw you!
