Making Mousse Thicker, Help

im making a cake with a chocolate mousse frosting but what can i add to the mousse to thicken it? its soft now and im worried that it will slide off easy

Slowly add cooled melted chocolate and beat well, till you've got a spreadable consistency.

tried beating it, seemed to thin it more...what if i added more whipping cream?

If that doesn't work, you can also try beating the cream in a separate bowl till stiff, then fold it in..........

I'm sorry this is giving you such a fit, and I know exactly how you feel. I made Chocolate Mousse twice last week. One batch came out perfect, and the other was just soupy. I'm just gonna blame it on the weather.......lol

Try adding chocolate instant pudding mix.
