new to all this with a question. Should I attempt seashells with gun paste or fondant or just buy them? I have no tools. I would like to make them but I would have to buy everything needed. Not sure if it's too much to take on. Thanks for any advice.

You can purchase seashell forms from hobby stores like Michaels for a couple of dollars. They can be used with chocolate or a 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant. You can then shade them with dusts to make them look realistic. They are super easy to make.

Check out a craft or hobby store in your area to see if they have any soap mold in the shape of seashells and melt Wilton Candy Melts or Almond Bark you can get at your store to make your shells, add a little coloring to the melts and you will get a cool effect on your shells, Luster dust them to give a nice scheen. All can be found in a craft store. Best of Luck
