I'm going to be making my first handbag cake in a week and have pretty much everything planned...apart from the zip!

How on earth do you make a zip out of icing?!

Any ideas or tips?

For this cake, I used a strip of fondant, dusted it with silver luster dust, then used a toothpick to make the teeth marks. HTH! http://cakecentral.com/gallery/76007
