Hi! I'm making a cake for tomorrow and needed black ears for "minnie mouse".. after having the ears sitting out for 1 day the black fondant is starting to turn purple. I may have to start over, but I wanted to know if there's any way I can stop this from happening again. I used the Wiltons Black Icing color.

Paint them with black color mixed with vodka.

Next time, get some Americolor super black. It won't fade. Ever.
