I am in the process with my sister, opening a storefront cupcake bakery. It will be the first in our area and I want to be able to decorate the top of cupcakes for any occasion. I have seen many books on Amazon on the subject and they all look good but I am wondering if any of you have bought any books that are really good for a fondant beginner. I have never used fondant, I started baking 37 years ago when we just used buttercream and royal icings. One is called fondant bible or something like that. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Liz

Hi I think your best bet is to look on utube or just google fondant tutorials and you will find heaps of step by step guides and video tutorials that can often be easier to follow and more up to date than books - I have learnt so much from them! Also I have borrowed loads of books from the library that way you get many more ideas and it is all for free! Ours has a surprising amount of cake decorating books!
