im doing a cake for a fair but i no idea what to do !!!!!! i really want it to be a fondant cake but im clueless on ideas but dosent need to be extreme its probably going to be 3 tiers each tier may be like 4 inches deep thanks sooooooo much

Is the fair a cake fair or a theme fair?
If its a cake fair you can do what ever you want! and keep it simple, maybe tiers in bright colours with white piping, or tiers with brightly coloured dots, flowers, stars etc. Or tiers with different flowers on or stripes anything you like.
If its a fair with a theme (like a craft fair or any antiques fair) you could relate the cake to that theme

Most fairs have a theme. And at the very least they have rules - as to size or what kind of decorations etc.
There are soooooooooo many ideas it is hard to recommend just one.
Have you looked through the galleries on this site?
Have you googled 'wedding cake' or anniversary or baby shower or whatever theme you want??
