Can I Use Butter Extract In My Marshallow Fondant Receipe?

I don't have any vanilla extract, but I do have lemon, peppermint & butter xtract.. Which one can I use for a making Fondant?

I have a very simple fondant receipe
Marsmellows
Conf. Sugar
Vanilla Xtract & Water..

What do you guys think?

I use MMF as welll.. I use all kinds of flavors to it

What kind of cake is it for? Lemon works great in mmf, but does it go with your cake? you can leave the extract out if you don't have a flavor that will compliment your cake. I'm not a fan of butter extract so I wouldn't recommend, but that's me.

Just a little bit of lemon extract gives mmf a great flavor! icon_wink.gif

Absolutely you can!! A gal in our cake club makes her own MMF and adds Vanilla and butter as base flavors. Sometimes she leaves it at that, sometimes she adds something else. Any way she does it it's delicious!! icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you so much everyone.. It is just for decorations, I'm giong to frost with buttercream and add the fondant decorations!!

I add vanilla, almond and butter extracts to my buttercream and MMf. Tastes great. icon_smile.gif
