I am turning my new Deluxe Oven on for the first time today. I am as nervous as a hen with a fox peering in the chicken coop.

Any tips on oven temps to usage would be so helpful. I have only ever baked in my kitchen oven.

Oh, this is funny, I was making cupcakes one day last week and used the large chocolate chips in the chocolate cupcakes. Every time I stuck the toothpick in the cake to test for doneness it wasn't coming out clean so I kept baking them for 2 more minutes. After the 3rd time the light bulb went off, I was hitting a melted chocolate chip. Boy did I feel stupid!

Probably too late for the first time, but i like to bake at 300 in my duke. And I don't look until I smell something yummy, and then I test with my finger. I never use a timer.
