Round Sps Plates For A Square Cake?

Hello! I was wondering if there would be a problem with me using round SPS plates with a square tierred cake. I have the round ones on hand, but certainly would order the square ones if it would cause any structural problems with the cake. What do you think? Has anyone done it and encountered problems? Thanks in advance!

Sure it will work! I have even used a heart shaped one under cakes in a pinch!
