I'm making a wedding cake next month and bride wants a vegan cake with vegan frosting. Any ideas? I found a few recipes on CC site but wondered if there are more. It would need to work in a 14inch round.

There are some pretty good vegan recipes for cake and frosting online you can use a starting point, but it took us a couple months to get our vegan recipes just right -- the only difference now is the texture, as vegan cakes are denser.

For the frosting I recommend incorporating Earth Balance margarine, it is the only margarine we've found that is completely dairy-free.

Have you tried Wacky Cake (also known as Crazy Cake)? It's deeeee-licious! Recipes for it are all over the internet, but here's a typical one:
