What bags are you guys using for cake pops? I buy the 1/4 pound clear bags by the thousand, so I have a lot of those. I use them for my cookies and for candy buffets. The "chocolate spoon" bags aren't big enough for the cake pops, but I'd like something shorter than the one I'm using.

I buy mine at Uline, they are by the thousand and come in many widths and lengths:

Thanks for asking this question! I had the same issue when I made cake pops for the first time last week. I ended up cutting off 1.5" off of my cookie bags (3.75" x 5.75") to make it work.

2"x3" does sound like the right size.

I do cookies, so I use a larger size, but if i wanted to know what size to buy, i would cut down one of my larger bags to the 2x3 or 2x4 size and see if i liked the way the pop fit in, then go from there.

I ordered the 2X3 bags from uline & they seem like they are too small. I was looking online & different sites showed different sizes... Would 4X5 be too big? I know I can use the other ones if I make smaller cake balls.... However, I'll be getting my cake pop roller in soon & those seem a lot bigger. Even the young lady at the Event I went to her cake balls were bigger. Any other hint on what size I should order

Thanx

I ordered a 2.5" X 4" bag from my supplier. They're not in yet, but should be here soon. We'll see if they work.

I use a 3x4.5" bag and they work great with a little room on either side. 2x3 was way too small and frustrating when you're trying to put the bags on
