Quick Cup Cake Question....

I have a request for 100 mini cupcakes.
What would you price them? I am totally clueless on this one, ladies! I little help please!

(Let's keep it simple, just a basic mini cupcake w/ buttercream icing, no fancy fondant work...yet!)

I don't do minis, but my regular buttercream cupcakes are $2.50 each. So maybe $2.00 for a mini?

4 mini cupcakes equal one regular cupcake. So if I would charge $1.00 per regular cupcake, then my mini cupcake would cost 25 cents.

$1 a regular cupcake?! Wow, that's awfully low. I make jumbo cups, and the prices around my area are about $3.25 a reg sized cup.

I charge $2-2.50 for my regular cupcakes and $1 each for minis.

I didn't say I charge a $1 per cupcake, just using that as an example.

I charge $.75/ regular cupcake with a swirl of icing...and $.50/each for minis the same way

I know it's a low price...they cost me roughly $.15/each to make so I can live with my price point (before anyone gets mad at me lol)

KHlastead, I just fainted. If you lived closer, I'd buy from you and resell. I get $2.75 for a reg sized cupcake, and don't offer minis. Little things like that are a PITA.

lol!! I charge the most....the other cupcakes around here go for $3.00/dozen....and I'm not talkin wal-mart! I am by far the most expensive cake decorator around these parts!! I also have a $50 minimum order now because I'm so booked up! I charge $2.50/serv for tiered cakes....the most expensive of the "other guys" charge $1.25/serv. they're nuts!

I dont personally do mini's either, but the prices I have seen are about 1/2 of regular priced cupcakes. 24 minis for the price of 1 dz regular size cupcakes.

Some bakeries in my area that specialize in cupcakes sell a very basic mini for $1.25. Cake with a swirl of frosting.

I charge $1.50 for minis & it goes higher depending on the decos
