A while back someone had asked if there were such a thing as dummy cupcakes...

Today I was at my local cake and candy supply store and they had dummy cupcakes!! They were 99 cents each.

I made my own. I bought styrofoam balls from the dollar store. I cut a little off the bottom (so they would sit flat0 and some off the top of each ball. I stuck each ball in the cupcake liners with super glue. waited for it to dry, then decorated them with royal icing. I use these as my samples for demos in my stores. I have also done this as sample for mini-cupcake flower pots

I actually ordered these a couple of months ago, though I have yet to use them. (Oops! *mental note*)
They ran 24 for $13
