I have celiac disease and only do gluten free baking. Generally, I bake from scratch, though I have tried the Betty Crocker mixes and they are decent. I'm intrigued by the WASC recipe and all of the variations on it. Has anyone tried it using the GF Betty Crocker mixes? I know it would take 2 GF mixes to equal one regular mix. I'll probably try it myself soon just to see if it works, but just wanted to see if it's already been tried first.
What a great idea! I just started GF baking and I would love to know if there is a way to make gluten free WASC cream cake. I am willing to try it eventually. Let us know what you come up with and I'll be sure to share any tips once I get around to working on it.
