Hey everyone. I'm making a baby shower cake next weekend and she's requesting flowers and butterflies. The figures in the photo she provided me do not have the hard look of gumpaste however it doesn't look like soft Fondant either. The butterflies look a little harder than the flowers. Any suggestions? I added some pics below if the inspiration cake she provided me. Thanks in advance!

I would use gumpaste/flowerpaste, as I find you can't get fondant that thin that will stand up well.

lots of people use a mixture of gumpaste and fondant. Or just use fondant with enough tylose mixed in to make them hold.
