I would pop them in a Tupperware box and store in a cool place. Any sealed box will do the job, actually.

I make a little tray type thing out of foil, then dust with cornstarch and put my items on the tray, and then put the tray in a ziploc baggie and squeeze out as much air as I cant.

Put them in the freezer right after you cut it out. When you go to use it just let it thaw out for only a minute or two. I do this all the time with stripes, polka dots, etc. Works great!
