My mother's day gift came today. Shari's Berries!! Has anyone had these? They're awesome and delicious but I'm trying to figure out what the bubbly taste is. I don't know how else to explain it other than, they taste tingly and bubbly. Could they have possibly been soaked in champagne or something before being coated in chocolate?

It may have something on it like fruit fresh....So that they make it thru shipping and waiting to be consumed.
