I've been asked by a local window siding company to building a cake in the image of a 3 D house to serve 200 people...This cake will be very detailed the entire house will have siding, roof will have shingle, very detailed window, well built lawn and garden, detailed front door, several hand made figurines one will carry a ladder one will carry a window...this cake will be delivered one hour and a half from my location...i have no idea what to charge...what i do know is this will be about a 40 hour cake with the amount of time that I will have to put into it due to precise detail....I have been given several prices i should charge...$1700, $1950 and $3500...Can someone please advise? icon_cry.gif

I tend to charge by the servings, and the most I've ever charged is $5 and that was a detailed wedding cake. If you can get $3500 more power to ya!
