hi all.... i want to put fondant flowers on the side of a bc cake. i made a small tier to practice with this week and i attached 2 fondant flowers to the side using bc as the adhesive and they both fell off after half a day. this morning i made royal icing and put them back on to see if it would be better. i really want to be confident that the flowers are going to stay ..not just for a day but for the whole weekend! i feel i need to go get fake flowers as a backup plan. is the royal gonna do the job or do i need to do something else??? tia!

I usually put mine on by brushing a little piping gel on the back side of the flower. It hasn't failed me yet!

Candy melts or melted chocolate...a little goes a long way and it has a STRONG hold. Image
