I am looking for a stainless steel work table to work on fondant and to decorate cakes. do you have any preferences as to what brand and what size ( I am thinking a 30inch * 36inch or do I need a bigger size?), new or used tables? do you know of a site with good prices? I have seen some for 200$ and more for the size I mentioned. Appreciate your help.

If you have an IKEA close by you can build a wonderful stainless worktable at a good price.

unfortunately there are no Ikeas near me

I have the ss table from Sams, it's sturdy and easy to clean.

your health department may require your tables to be NSF certified, so check before you buy. I don't know if these tables mentioned in this post are NSF certified. If you have a restuarant supply store, check them out.

All of mine are 30" x 72". The setup is perfect. Plenty of room for the mixer and work area. I set them up as comlete work stations. They are NSF from a restaurant supply store. $240.00 with the shelf.
