Hello,

My friend just requested blueberry cake pops. What do you guys think of adding dried blueberries to the already baked white cake. I have a huge cake I am doing for another friend a few weeks before where I will have a ton of vanilla cake scraps I can turn into cake pops.

And since I am a hobbyist, and don't charge, I would like to conserve expenses as much as possible.

Do you think this will work or be too dry and crunchy???

TIA

You could do the dried berries and a little buttercream for more moisture. You could also add blueberry preserves into the buttercream for more flavor or if you decide to skip the dried berries. Sounds delicious.

I don't usually add buttercream to mine, I like them a little drier. But I like your thinking. Maybe a little blueberry preserves rather than the dried blueberries.
