I need to do a monkey cake for a baby's birthday. They want the monkey from the invitation, piped, wearing a skirt and using the colors from the invitation. Also piped bananas here and there. Any ideas? It's a half sheet cake. Kinda stumped on how to incorporate the colors

I would use the blue color behind the writing or the green with white dots to ice the cake. You could then use the colors from the circles to do circles on the cake or balls as the border. You can do a FBCT for the monkey and even the bananas. I think it would be cute.

I would probably go with the green color behind the monkey on the invitation for the overall cake color. It gives a nice contrast to the monkey brown and pink. For a bottom border you could make colored balls to mimic the circles on the invitation. These could be fondant or buttercream.

For bananas, you could have some raining from the sky and/or a pile close by the monkey. You could write 'Goin' Banans over Mia's 1st Birthday' on the cake.
