So for a spiral cake do I have to carve it? Could I use a cake cutter If i start with a circle cake then do I carve.( Could I use a cake cutter?

Not sure what issue you are having, what exactly are you trying to do?

Well it suppose to be the second tier it suppose to start small from bottom and works it way up but it curves out.

As I understand the directions, it is carved. I have never tried this myself, but it's on my to-try list!! Good luck!
