Ribbon On Fondant- Help!!!!

can somebody please tell me how the heck i attatch real ribbon as a border on fondant??? Help icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

I use piping gel or BCI to attach the ribbon. I think some people use royal icing too. I just use little dabs here & there & it stays just fine. Don't panick, it's not that hard. You can do it!! icon_smile.gif

Maybe small dots of royal icing? I wouldn't use BC--the grease will stain the ribbon.

I panic when my cakes aren't turning out like I had planned. They always seem to be ok in the end. icon_smile.gif Your doing fine sweetviolent~ BC has never stained the ribbons on my cakes. I don't put the ribbon on until right before I deliver the cake. Never had problem with staining. icon_smile.gif
