I see there are tons of Spongebob cakes on CC. And I have a request for Spongebob sitting up and his legs sitting on the cake board. Any suggestions on how to start this? Square pan, sheet pan? And how do I get him to sit up??
And if anyone know how to do the pineapple out of cake that would be awesome!
I don't think it really matters what kind of pan you use because you will just be stacking strips of cake. You wont be turning a cake up on its side. So just bake a square or sheet cake, cut it into long rectangles in the size you want the base of his body to be. Then stack these rectangles with support every 4 inches or so until it is as tall as you want it to be.
