Can someone tell me how to make pine trees with either buttercream or royal icing? Also what is the best way to camoplage a cake? Want to make a cake for my sons birthday and he is a hunter. Thnks for any help!

I really haven't made any for a long time but I would use royal icing and use a leaf tip depending how big you want your treees go to youtube can find anything. HTH

I have pine trees on my Kayak Grooms Cake ...I dipped pretzels sticks in chocolate and added green fondant in patched and used scissors to cut the fondant to make the needle look. I have also done the same with buttercream that i added extra powder sugar untill it was stiff like fondant.
