Hey everyone! I have used heating cores many times, but I am making a 16 inch cake and was entertaining the idea of using two. Has anyone done this or should I just stick with one heating core in the center? Thanks!

I've used two when using the larger rectangle pans and they worked fine. I can't stand an undercooked cake, so I typically use a care (not for small cakes of course) and always cut my oven temp down to 325 regardless of the size.

Okay great thanks! I dont see how it could hurt to use 2, other than having an extra plug but who will ever notice icon_wink.gif
